Ghosts of the Future is a band inspired by dead men, time-travellers and broken tape loops, all howling inside the cathedral of my skull. Roy Orbison stumbles in at 2am, drunk on dreams, wailing into a plastic microphone in a flickering karaoke bar. The Kinks yodel down from Big Sky, all feedback and thin air. Dr. John and Captain Beefheart are elbow-deep in a basement swamp, wiring frog sounds to the moon. And Johnny Cash, he’s still out there, thumb out on a forgotten highway.
